Example

Doctor

  • You need to have a good understanding of time for all your appointments.
  • You need to understand measurements so that you get your medicine dosage correct.
  • Fractions, decimals and percentages are needed. eg oxygen levels
  • You need to be able to convert between measurements,
  • You need to be able to count eg measuring someone’s pulse.
  • You need an understanding of graphs which show information about a patient.
